How do we do it?

We have a couple of great options, both giving great results and helping you drive more sales for almost negligible cost.

Option 1

You can book into one of our web video session where you turn up with your script and are filmed in front of a ‘green screen’. We will superimpose a suitable background (such as pictures of your products, service or logo) and edit the whole thing together there and then. Each session is 75 minutes long.

Option 2

You supply us with set of photos (supplied electronically on CD, DVD, memory stick or e-mail) and a short script and we’ll provide a professional voice over to voice the script. We’ll add the pictures (including zooming in and panning) and create a short professional web video. As with option 1 the session time is 75 minutes and we will do it there and then.

With both options you’ll walk away with a DVD copy and a ‘web’ version of your video.

Our ‘Webvert’ web videos give you the opportunity to connect with your customers, build trust and loyalty and greatly increase the chances of doing business with that viewer.

How we are able to do this for such a low cost?

We can deliver the service at such a competitive cost because we spread the service over a few days, filming a number of businesses. Each business has its own 75 minute slot in which we will film, edit and provide the webvert as well as a DVD version.

What happens on the day?

1. You arrive at our studio location armed with your script and photos (on CD, DVD or memory stick)
2. We will discuss your script and make any necessary alterations on the day with our TV director.
3. We film you against a ‘green screen’ background and we allow three attempts at reading the script (This does not have to be in one go and we have an autocue available for you)
4. We then immediately edit your video together and include your stills*
5. You can then make any final edit changes before we out put you a DVD and web version - it’s really that simple.

Technical Information

Autocue

An ‘Autocue’ is a device that sits in front of the camera lens allowing you to read your script and also allows you to look directly into the lens

Green Screen

This is a background of pure green that you stand in front of - it allows us to superimpose any background images behind you, similar to what’s used for TV presenters and weather presenters.

Preparation

How to prepare

1. Prepare a 90 words script (equates to around 30 seconds) and make sure it’s interesting, compelling and persuasive. Try reading to others to get an objective opinion.

2. Send us the script in 5 days in advance as a ‘word document’ so we can load it onto our Autocue system in advance of your session. If you can’t send it before then please bring it on a USB stick and we’ll load it up on the day - please be aware that this will use up some of your session time.

3. Practise reading your script before you arrive - often doing this in front of a mirror is a good way to get it right. There is no rush in reading it on the day and you can put good expression into it, above all just relax and enjoy - we’re there to help and support you.

4. Prepare upto a maximum of ten photos of your company and/or service to include in your webvert. They must be landscape and at least 1440 x 1080 pixels and they need to be e-mailed when the script is sent. Please remember that the last image/photo will hold on the screen so consider if this need a logo and phone number.

On the day

Please make sure that you arrive in plenty of time for your session (we suggest 30 minutes before) so you have time to read over the script and prepare yourself. In the event that you are late then we will try and accommodate you but because of the fact that we have specific session times allocated often we cannot run over so you may lose some of your session time.

Obviously you should dress appropriately and look the part. Remember this is your opportunity to be seen by a lot of prospective customers.

Finally, please avoid wearying ‘green’ or ‘blue’ clothing as this may interfere with our ‘green screen’ background.

FAQs

1. What if I have problems writing my script?

The best thing to do is keep it short and concise, don’t try and cram in too much - try to provide answers to problems.

2. What happens if I’m late for my session?

The session times are very tight so it’s unlikely that we will be able to reschedule - so leave plenty of time!

3. How do I put the video on my website?

This is a quite simple process that your website company will be able to do easily.

Optional Extras

Our standard 75 minute ‘Webvert’ includes 10 photographs and you in front of a green screen. If you’d like music added and ‘bullet points’ or onscreen text then we can add this for you, however as this extends the session time there is a small additional cost:
